I had my beefs with Bush admin policies, as most FReepers do and did. But my gosh, look at that man's face! He's proud of our country and proud of our troops. Can't say I've seen anything like that expression on the face of the current occupant.

I tried to post the photo here, but my html tag didn't work. Maybe another FReeper with more skills than I can accomplish it.

Disagreed with his policies, but I respect him greatly as a man.

I wish the images could be somewhere else. I don’t see the gain in letting Facebook know my politics!

He’s a nice man. And would be a fine neighbor. But he greeted 1 million mexicans just as warmly. He had NO problem whatsoever with the flood. Obama dislike doesn’t make me wish for more of Bush, ever.

I would think it is positive that you support the troops and them being respected. Anyone who has a problem with that would hardly seem worth anyone’s time. I have liberals that I know and spend time with and would not hesitate to show my support for fellow Americans and troops being respected by a former American president and first lady. If they have a problem with that—they should move to Cuba, Iran, Pakistan . . . you know the drill.

You don't have to share anything with Facebook or any other site for that matter.

Sure it’s positive. All of my politics are positive. That doesn’t stop leftist organizations like Facebook keeping nasty little files about it!

Meanwhile, Zer0 and Chewbacca keep spending like Royalty; vacations every two weeks, Parties all the time, $2000 purses and $500 sneakers,Flying in a chef from St Louis for “pizza night”,more vacations ,$900 New York Lobster lunches,Shopping trips to London and Paris, taking 60 guests to Spain vacation @ $2500 per night, shutting down DC traffic to go veggie shopping, date night trips to Chicago, more vacations , seperate jet for family dog, bring in favorite Chicago chef to cook when WH has a Five-Star Chef on Staff, even more vacations.............etc etc etc. B0 and M0 sure are doing their best to reinforce those old stereotypes about work ethics!!!

They don’t even care what they look like. I think they expect one term.

MEGA DITTOS to that!He should have controlled spending to a greater degree(a light weight compared to”The Anointed One”).Also,he should have answered back and defended his administration from the DAILY HAMMERING by The DemonRats and their willing accomplices in The State-Run Media!!Outside of that,I voted(GLADLY)for him twice!!!Laura was the classiest First Lady since Nancy Reagan!!!!I miss them EVERY day!!!!!!!!!!!

This video will make you tear up like Glenn Beck. Will we ever see America rally around a President like this again?

Nice pic (although Laura should be wearing a different shirt, or maybe a vest over that one).

You can see in their eyes that Mr. and Mrs. Bush look at, instead of down on, people. So many liberals tilt their heads back to give the impression that they are looking down on whoever they’re interacting with. President Bush looks straight at people, and even kneels down to get to their level if they’re small (i.e. children).

I’ve always wondered at the characterization of conservatives as arrogant, when liberals are far more likely to betray arrogance in every aspect of their body language.
