Although this is a form of really good news, and something may come of it politically, it is like finally admitting the captain of the Titanic is incompetent AFTER we hit the iceberg.
At least we can slip below the surface with the knowledge that those that made him captain admit they made a mistake.
But to be honest, we hit the iceberg even before he was voted in. He just made it worse than it already would have been - From really bad to really, really bad.
I’m not all that interested in Obama these days, for the same reason as I wouldn’t be as a passenger in my analogy. He is not relevant and although the results of his presidency probably will be catastrophic in a Neville Chamberlain sort of way, there is nothing practical that can be done. We just have to watch the accident happen in slow motion.
