Also, McCain was the other choice. I think that had more to do with Obama’s win than anything.I agree. Pretty much the only arrow in our quiver was "Vote for the dumb sounding old guy because you just cannot believe how bad the other guy is going to be.

My mother voted against McCain because he’s too old. She actually had more in common with McCain than Obama, but was afraid McCain would be too senile to manage.
