Fred Malek: Palin’s not doing what she needs to do to run

Who’s Fred Malek and why should you care? Think of him as sort of the Beltway-insider equivalent of John Ziegler. Like Ziegs, he’s a Sarahcuda defender par excellence, and like Ziegs, he doesn’t think she’s angling for a serious shot at the presidency. From a WaPo profile last year describing him as “the authority on Palin”:

Not nonsense, just fact

Facts? You don't even know the meaning of the word. You live in s world of pure fiction.

The only thing noticeable is the extent to which you Sarahbots keep trying to shift the focus away from Palin”

Because you had no answer to give to the very pertinent question I asked, so of course you prevaricate and wiggle like a trapped snake.

Sometimes the truth stinks”

Blatant lies, especially yours, stink even more.

Hyperbole won't change the fact Palin supports flaming socialist McAmnesty over the conservative candidate because they are of like mind on the amnesty issue.”

"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it”
- Adolf Hitler.

The anti-Palinbots have taken a leaf straight from Hitler's book. You will go down in flames same as Hitler did.

Thank you...pretty much sums it up.

I’m sick to death of the popularity/electability contests. If that’s the best we can do, the best options we can find from the get-go for our primary ballots, I may never vote Republican again.

I don’t think Palin is going to run. She is just using up the conservative energy to make money. Do you remember Colin Powell’s 1995 book tour and how he suckered everyone into thinking he was going to be the best Republican president ever? Remember:

COLIN POWELL’S BOOK TOUR-OR IS IT A WHISTLE-STOP?

The publishing world is synchronizing watches, waiting for Colin L. Powell’s new offensive to begin. No, not Desert Storm II. It’s the retired army general’s national book blitz.

In mid-September, the hero of the Persian Gulf war will launch a campaign to sell more than a million copies of his memoirs, My American Journey. If the tour lives up to megahyped expectations, Powell could launch a budding political career, maybe even a Presidential bid. But even if he doesn’t run, Powell will help his publisher, Random House Inc., win a $6.5 million gamble. That’s the reported advance the publishing giant paid the general for his rags-to-battle-ribbons saga. Random House’s planned first printing: 950,000 copies, to be sold at $25.95 each...

You said months ago that the only reason Tom endorsed Romney was because Romney had the best immigration plan (of available candidates).

I may have said that is what Tanc said, but I certainly never made the assessment that Flipper had the best immigration plan. Especially since when Tanc dropped out Hunter was still a candidate.

You mean her amnesty position whereby she is against amnesty

Depends on the audience.

Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?

Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

Naturally, you left out the first part of the interview (no surprise there).

"Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?

No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides."

"No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty."

Not "total amnesty"? What tripe!

"You know, people have got to follow the rules."

The "rules" were broken the minute the criminals she wants to give citizenship to invaded our country.

Naaah.
You are the one talking tripe here.

The “rules” were broken the minute the criminals she wants to give citizenship to invaded our country”

Nope.
the rules we're broken, the moment you deliberately CUT OFF the pertinent part of that quote, and set about to deceive by cleverly posting only the truncated part that made her look bad.
Even Michael Moore will find it hard to top your trickery in deceitful editing.
You may need to get help.
You will do well to take heed from this quote:

“Oh what a tangled web we weave, When first we practice to deceive”-- William Shakespeare.

I think we can both agree Tanc lost all credibility when he endorsed Romney.

I think that Sarah was trying to strike a balance between her own views and McLame’s. Though I admit that it’s speculation on my part.

You folks are missing the point. She has to support McCain and Romney now to win the presidency in 2012. We must all stop fighting and unite on that one goal. All these issues will be worked out AFTER we have her elected, one way or the other. What is important is that we all work together so she wins. Nothing else matters.

She has to support McCain and Romney now to win the presidency in 2012.

Here we go again with the same lesser of two evils mentality that enabled the socialists to control Congress and the White House. Palin's loyalty should be to conservative principles instead of politicians who have incrementally accepted socialists ideals be it rewarding criminals to remain in this country or advancing the model for a socialist health care agenda that violates the Constitution.

We must all stop fighting and unite on that one goal.

We can stop fighting by standing firm on Conservative values and not supporting politicians who are trying to reach out with the appearance of reaching a middle ground. Every time the OP(formerly the GOP) has invoked the compromise concept it has only led us down the path to more socialism. Instead of acquiescing, conservatives need to steal a page out of the socialist playbook by standing resolute on conservative values. Make socialists relent to conservative ideals instilled in the Constitution by our founding fathers. Consider any setback as only temporary. Demand socialists compromise their principles as they have been demanding from Conservative for decades.

All these issues will be worked out AFTER we have her elected, one way or the other. What is important is that we all work together so she wins.

These issues need to be addressed now regardless who seek the Presidential nomination. They can't wait. They should have been addressed decades ago before socialists took a foot hold. Every time we wait is more time not spent advancing conservatism. That is what matters the most.

The "pertinent" part of the quote only made it worse for you. You blatantly lied, claiming that "You mean her amnesty position whereby she is against amnesty" when she actually said that she is only opposed to "total amnesty."

Let's review:

"No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty."
Pure tripe.

Half-term’s statement to Univision was pretty clear. She supports legalizing illegals.
