Many good families have watched, helpless, as one of their children has fallen for the wrong person. Many times the child wises up in short order to the relief of the family. In other cases the “child” may go on for years with the wrong person only to sulk back later asking their family for help.
That Sara’s daughter made a mistake, realized the mistake and threw him to the curb is not in anyway a slight on the Palin’s parenting skills; it proves the Palin’s to be a typical American family who have faced and survived problems many other families have faced.
I can only assume some would have wanted the Palin’s to send their daughter to a mental hospital for a lobotomy after she showed interest in the likes of a scumbag. Or at least kept their daughter locked up 24/7 in her room until she was 30 or came to her senses.
Let’s leave actions like those to the finest of Democrat families.
