As I looked at my notes about President Obama's press conference on heath care tonight, there was a complete shock at the lies, evasive spin and lack of facts in the answers the President foisted on the American People. Not surprising was the fact that at times, the mainstream media let him get away with murder. The below is a full transcript published by the Washington Post, along with most of my notes. The writing in black are the words of the President/Reporter, my insights, corrections and plain snarky comments are in red:

He came off as logically incoherent and talking out of both sides of his mouth.
Somehow he’s going to cover the uninsured, see to it that everybody gets the care they need, and make it all magically cheaper and more efficient.
Never mind the expensive, bloated messes made of Medicaid, Medicare and SCHip. Somehow this monster of a bill will bring on utopia.
what does BFL mean?
bump for later.
WTF?
The American public is finally waking up to the fact that the SHAM WOW, SCAM WOW president who has no legit birth certificate is nothing but a glorified anti-American Marxist Socialist who HAS NO CLOTHES!
“He came off as logically incoherent and talking out of both sides of his mouth.”

In other words, a normal news conference for Obama.
I think it’s funny, sadly funny, that he’s in a rush to pass this huge bill in two weeks, when the proposed legislation would not take effect until 2013. If it doesn’t start for 3 1/2 to 4 years, why the rush to pass it now?
And what about the people who write you, telling stories of not affording leukemia treatments and such? If this is such a pressing issue, why do you allow this to wait over three years to take effect? What happens to the kids with leukemia in the meantime???????
And he really screwed the pooch by letting his community organizer instincts take over and decide to accept the invitation to dip his oar into the Henry Louis Gates fiasco and give us an impromptu lecture about Race in Amerikka. That was unpresidential.
If I were 0bama, I’d have done it just like that.
Also. (Did I spell that right?)
(Is it Friday yet?)
"...I mean, if I was trying to jigger into -- well, I guess this is my house now, so...
(LAUGHTER)
... it probably wouldn't happen. But let's say my old house in Chicago.
(LAUGHTER)
Here, I'd get shot.
(LAUGHTER)
Uhhh, ok...what was he saying? Did he mean he'd get shot while trying to break into the Chicago home OR get shot at while trying to break into the WH? What message is that sending about the secret service? That comment slipped in while the press was yukking it up kinda weirded me out. BTW...any more news about the s-s guy that was let go or quit the Obama detail? Saw the article the other nite but no updates since.
thanks
Pass it now. let it linger a few years, then when it kicks in and is a dismal failure blame someone else.
meanwhile enjoy the perks of being able to intrude on the public’s freedom and privacy.
Think of all the perks .. you get your bank records looked at, your health records (including any mental health - so they can take your guns), make 12 million illegals citizens through the back door and get them in ACORN ....
But the dumocrats NEVER think of that once.
democrats / liberals in the population are generally very nice people filled with compassion. It is that compassion that is used against them to pass things that look good on the outside and are bad inside.
Kind of like wrapping 3 pounds of feces in a beautiful package with a nice ribbon on it.
Then you open it and we all have to take a big bite of this shi7 sandwich.
Lets turn into community organizers. The Obama team called upon his teams of bloggers to get out there and saturate the internet to help get this Health Care bill passed. We need to do the same. We didn’t do it during the election and the community organizer did a superb job and we ended up with a Marxist in the White House. Let’s roll!

One of the many ways that the election of Barack Obama as president has echoed that of John F. Kennedy is his use of a new medium that will forever change politics. For Mr. Kennedy, it was television. For Mr. Obama, it is the Internet.
Were it not for the Internet, Barack Obama would not be president. Were it not for the Internet, Barack Obama would not have been the nominee, said Arianna Huffington, editor in chief of The Huffington Post.
Mr. Obama used the Internet to organize his supporters in a way that would have in the past required an army of volunteers and paid organizers on the ground, Mr. Trippi said.
The tools changed between 2004 and 2008. Barack Obama won every single caucus state that matters, and he did it because of those tools, because he was able to move thousands of people to organize.
Mr. Obamas campaign took advantage of YouTube for free advertising. Mr. Trippi argued that those videos were more effective than television ads because viewers chose to watch them or received them from a friend instead of having their television shows interrupted.
The campaigns official stuff they created for YouTube was watched for 14.5 million hours, Mr. Trippi said. To buy 14.5 million hours on broadcast TV is $47 million.
There has also been a sea change in fact-checking, with citizens using the Internet to find past speeches that prove a politician wrong and then using the Web to alert their fellow citizens.
