Every so often Savage gets one of those riveting calls and this happens to be one of them, for those of you who missed you can check it out below, and for those of you who heard it, it’s worth a re-listen.

Don’t forget that call from a rabbi that was also a scientist. It was a discussion on faith and science. An absolute must hear.

I believe that was a couple of years ago.

I just listened to it and it was most interesting. The caller was calm, rationable and reasonable. Savage treated him with the respect he deserved.

That was very interesting. It was nice to hear Savage not yell for a change.

And you still remember it? Must’ve been a great call, I’ll have to see if I can find a youtube clip of it.

LOL! Yea, he doesn’t always yell, probably only when he’s talking about his boat, cooking , or reading the Bible.

I might have to send an e-mail to Savage to see if he remembers it so he can play it again.

It definitely struck a chord in me SJB, and it appears to have done so with Savage also, not sure why just yet, but I know I seek the truth in matters of faith and so does Savage, just thought it was good enough to pass on to others, I like and agree with a lot of what the caller spoke about, the multi-tiered levels of heaven and hell is strictly Jewish doctrine which I know practically nothing about, altho I do know the Mormons believe the same thing.

What seemed to me to resonate the most with Savage was the idea of bring others to God. I am a Christian, and in our church, bringing others to God is paramount.

Resonating? How about the caller's mention of the purpose of our lives in this life, this so called blink of an eye existence when compared to the eternity that waits us all.

I like the idea of continually perfecting ourselves and our surroundings as a means of preparing for a place in the eternal life.

And of course I loved his slam on homosexuality as one of the, if not the worst sin against God, that and the fact that the program is heard prime time in the heart of San Fran-Sodom and its sister city Gomorrah or commonly referred to as New York.

He had a great call on back around Christmas by some guy named Angelo or something in NYC. He talked about fairweather Jews and Catholics who are libs and do not really practice the religion. The call was one of the best on his show.

Anyone remember when Clint Eastwood called because Savage was bashing Clint about hiring Sean Pean and some other lib actors for one of his movies. The call was out of the blue and Savage was not sure it was Clint but the voice was a dead giveaway. He was driving somewhere or something.

Just by chance I heard this too. If Savage could be this respectful of all his callers I would listen more often.

I remember catching the tail end of a call from a guy who Savage apparently thought had creditability in seeing the future. Not sure what this guys experiences were because I missed the first part of the call but Savage took him seriously. Savage asked him what is the future of the US and the guy said he wouldn’t go into the details of how this would come about but in less than 200 years there would be a mosque where the White House is now.

This was after 9/11 but wayyyy before anyone ever heard of Barack Obama.

“He talked about fairweather Jews and Catholics who are libs and do not really practice the religion.”

Few things are as irritating to me as someone when asked what their religious beliefs are responds, “I was raised Catholic.”

Perhaps it’s my Protestant upbringing (and I’m quite the Catholophile), but I don’t tolerate that phrase well. My knee jerk response is, “Obviously not that well...”

Sorry, but you are Catholic, or you aren’t. I don’t see any inbetween ground when it comes to Christ.

Maybe you’re talking about Jose the caller which had to be one of the best calls I ever heard on Savage.
