I have only been a member of FreeRepublic for a few months, but I have never seen any posting/subject/discussion that brought out more trolls and people who are clearly suffering serve cases of Bush Derangement Syndrome and Obama aploygists than the Obama’s bow to the Saudi’s King. I was curious do you ‘Old’ Timers see it the same as I do? Has anything brought out the trolls more than this?

Any time a lib does something moronic you can bet the apologists will appear in droves trying explain it way. Kind of a “protect the weakest in the herd” mentality.
I was on the “bowing Brrack” thread yesterday and I didn’t see anyone apologizing for him. Maybe I left the thread too early?

It is because it is a ‘mindless’ topic, just a bow, so liberals will understand it more. Now, if there is a topic on taxation, international business, economics, military tactics, it just goes over liberal troll’s heads, thus, they don’t know how to respond.

Is it just politeness, or politeness conditioned by joy and respect at being in the presence of a major Muslim dignitary? After all, did the Saudis salute the American flag or otherwise pay any respects to the Office of the President?
