Sen. Barack Obama has done America a great service by leaking some names of likely cabinet nominees to the Times of London.
For Secretary of Defense, The One is is looking to the Republican whose own bad judgment most closely duplicated Sen. Obama's own in fervently opposing the Surge and demanding that we surrender in Iraq on a strict timetable: Sen. Chuck Hagel. In January 2007, Sen. Hagel was quoted as saying that the surge would be "the most dangerous foreign policy blunder in this country since Vietnam, if it's carried out."
This is the Obama definition of "working with those across the aisle": Selecting the single most dim-witted GOP senator. Bozo Sen. Hagel is almost certainly too stupid to realize that he would enter any Obama Administration with the words "Fall Guy" prominently tattooed across his forehead.
And for the National Leader of the International Mother-May-I Team — excuse me, Secretary of State — Sen. Obama's leaking the name of Sen. John F. "Global Test" Kerry. Sen. Kerry, you'll recall, has splendid foreign policy credentials, having left behind in a Massachusetts closet his uniform as an officer in the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1970 (and perhaps again in 1971) so that he could travel to Paris and meet secretly and in mufti with our Viet Cong and North Vietnamese enemies. John McCain and his fellows were still POWs when young Kerry returned to urge — yes, you've got it — an immediate American surrender and withdrawal without preconditions from South Vietnam, which by the oddest of coincidences was exactly the same "peace plan" being preached at that very moment by our enemies themselves.
The only potential glitch in this plan is that Kerry may be re-classified as a WMD — specifically, a wide-area narcoleptic weapon.
Shocking. Brazen. Insanely dangerous. The geopolitical decisions of a naive child, choosing deputies who are demonstrably more naive than I feared even Obama himself was. That's what we would see in an Obama administration. And we won't be able to say that we weren't duly warned. John McCain was correct that Americans need not be "scared" that Obama himself is a terrorist or the like. But Americans ought be afraid of spectacularly bad judgments like these and the catastrophic consequences they could cause for the entire world.

I know it’s not a cabinent position but Barney Frank for Hud Secretary because we all know how well Barny is at managing Bath houses and mortgages.

Secretary of Labor: Jonh Sweeney
Secretary of Energy: Jerry Brown
Secretary of Transportation: Jimmy Hoffa, Jr.
Secretary of the Treasury: Franklin Raines
I thought Rezko would be the HUD Secretary.

Oh can we even imagine the ambassadorial appointments?
The prospect should send a few of the striped-pants set out for DEPENDS.

And, the Secretary of HHS will be Richard Daley (you will need a note from your Democrat precinct committeeman to get that Social Security check).
HUD will get Jessie Jackson, Sr. (that way he can get his name on every public housing project in the country)

Personally, I think it's a good sign that Obama's naming Cabinet members.
we all know how well Barny is at massaging in Bath houses and mortgages.
Rod Blagojevich (the current Governor of Illinois) will appoint himself to the remainder of 0bama's term - that way he will get out of Springfield - he hates that "hick town". And since Chicago controls all the elections in this "blue" state, he will effectively be Senator-for-Life.
At least it would get Hagel out of the Senate.

This would be an excellent choice, since he has international experience. Kerry, as you may remember, recalled how he was sent by President Nixon to Cambodia in 1968.
Why didn’t Obama name Murtha Sec’y of Defense. Would be just as viable as Chuck Hagel.
If Obama gets in, our country will be attacked. If not during Obama’s administration, then surely in the next one. The terrorists do not want to wait. They would attack us even now if they could. Obama’s policies will open the door wide for this to happen. In fact, the likelihood of such a scenario would increase fifty fold under an Obama administration. No secure borders. Amnesty for illegal aliens. Goodbye Patriot Act. No more wiretapping and monitoring terrorist communication and movements. Cutting defense budget and spending. Slashing the budget of our intelligence agencies. Obama will make a very dangerous president for our great country. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Good choices! Obumster has said he will have a place for Algore in his administration. I would think he will appoint AG for sec’y of energy. Jerry can be ag’s assistant.

Me too. Then, I’m sure that there must be others he is deliberately not naming for good reason. I say that because of what I heard Eric Shawn and Jamie Colbe (sp?) announce on FNC when they came on the air at 9:AM right after Fox & Friends was over. Here from my videotape, is a close transcription of their announcement, if you haven’t heard it yet:

“Report: McCain & Obama teams get White House briefings on terror concerns.”
Eric and Jamie (paraphrased): “US intelligence agencies fear terrorist activity immediately after the election because of a perceived power vacuum.” (They then cite the terrorist attacks in Britian immediately after Gordon Brown was elected, etc.)”
But here’s the kicker:
Jamie Colbe: “History making. History making .. never-been-done-before - the FBI is starting on security clearances on both the McCain & Obama STAFFERS THAT MIGHT ONE DAY OCCUPY THE WEST WING.”
