Some time ago, I emailed Senator Nelson and urged him to support drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. His email response was that in the 1960's there was a terrible oil spill in California and for that reason he opposed drilling in the Gulf. Our technology has come a long way since the 1960's and during the recent hurricanes we did not have a single oil spill. If Senator Nelson had a brain, he'd be dangerous!

I believe the only real solution to our long-term energy needs is reducing our nation's consumption of oil, developing reliable alternatives to oil, and learning to conserve and use energy more efficiently.

The Democrats are complete and utter idiots. They obviously don't think they'll be impacted when utility costs go thru the roof due to shortages.
