The Minuteman Project and "Operation Sovereignty"

Welcome to the Minuteman Project

The Minuteman Project and "Operation Sovereignty"

by Jim Gilchrist, Founder of The Minuteman Project
and Jerome R. Corsi, Ph.D.

From all over the nation, volunteers of The Minutemen Project are loading up their lawn chairs and binoculars, preparing to head to Laredo, Texas to join us on the border for Operation Sovereignty. From 9/11 until the November Election Day, The Minutemen Project plans to bring to national attention the threat to our national sovereignty that this massive invasion of illegal immigrants represents.

As co-authors of Minutemen: the Battle to Secure America's Borders, we have sought to sound an alarm that our sovereignty as a nation is at stake. We explain how we learned about the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America that President Bush declared, along with Mexico's President Fox and Canada's Prime Minister Paul Martin, in Waco, Texas on March 23, 2005.

President George W. Bush, center, attends the Security and Prosperity Partnership meeting with Mexico's President Vicente Fox, right, and Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, left, Friday, March 31, 2006 at the Fiesta Americana Condesa Cancun Hotel in Cancun, Mexico.

We agree wholeheartedly with Pat Buchanan's new book, State of Emergency, that the crisis of our nation that illegal immigration represents cannot be ignored, not if we want to preserve, protect and defend the United States of America - a job President Bush evidently does not think is important enough to do.

The progress toward creating the North American Union being made by SPP.gov in the U.S. Department of Commerce is shocking. SPP.gov amounts to a coup d'etat by the executive branch of the Bush administration.

Some 20 cabinet level "working groups" in our government are working with their counterpart cabinet level "working groups" in Mexico and Canada to re-write U.S. administrative law into new "tri-lateral memorandums of understanding." Shockingly, the Bush administration is simply ignoring the Constitutional requirement that new relations with foreign nations should be submitted for ratification by a two-thirds vote of the U.S. Senate.

We have chosen Laredo, Texas, as the focal point for "Operation Sovereignty" because this town is the location where the NAFTA Super-Highway, being billed as the "Trans-Texas Corridor," [TTC] will be begun next year, if Governor Perry gets re-elected.

Thousands of Texans who are planning to vote for Governor Perry are going to be in disbelief when they receive their TTC eminent domain eviction notices because the TTC is coming through their living room. This is something The Minuteman Project wants to prevent.

Laredo, Texas, is also where a drug war is spilling over from Nuevo Laredo south of the border, threatening the lives and security of thousands of Texan citizens in the process.

Reynaldo Garza, acting chief of the Border Patrol's Laredo Sector, has disclosed he will be discussing Operation Sovereignty reporting and safety procedures with The Minutemen Project and our volunteers on the Laredo border.

Full details on Operation Sovereignty are available on the website of The Minuteman Project at www.minutemanproject.com . You are invited to come down to the border to join us, anytime from 9/11 to Election Day.

Ironically, for all their belittling of this as a conspiracy theory, their justification for attacking everyone else on here resides on nothing more than a conspiracy theory itself. That and the fact that I generally thought that "Conservatives" debated without calling people racists and Nazis and such.

Makes one think this conspiracy goes deeper than We can imagine. I mean, are there groups out there and in here who are perfectly fine with the loss of US sovereignty? Should We change the name of this site to FreeMason.com? Regardless, I see NO reason to squelch FREE SPEECH!

Well, I do suppose its good that you have a positive outlook on the current state of affairs of this nation. Because I only see a bunch of self-serving, greedy pigs running our country who are so self absorbed they would rather things fall away rather than do their job and keep this country together and sovereign...

" I mean, are there groups out there and in here who are perfectly fine with the loss of US sovereignty?"

Mindboggling, isn't it....not just groups out there and in here, but the President of the United States himself. The lies and deception were, at first, disappointing. Now replaced with anger and disgust at a man I trusted and voted for twice. Uggghh.... I can now relate to those Dems who were truly supportive and respectful, only to be disappointed and disgusted in the end with Clinton.
