While researching BIBLE CODES, I ran across this website. Does anyone on FR know this guy and is he a legitimate religious person or a doomsday nutjob? In any event, the "info" is a bit scary.....
22 AUG 2006: HOLOCAUST OF ISRAEL A DIRE WARNING FOR ISRAEL AND THE ULTIMATE TEST OF THE BIBLE CODE AND OUR UNDERSTANDING OF IT.
On Aug 22, 2006, The Iranian Regime will make an announcement to the world as to their response to The United Nations Resolution for Iran to stop Uranium Enrichment leading to nuclear weapons.

I did a search in the Bible Code to see if AUG 22 2006 is found in The Bible Code and THIS DAY is encoded with A Dire Warning for The Nation of Israel.
As I write this page (9.9.06) Israel is preparing to launch a major ground invasion (with 10,000 Soldiers and tank support) into Southern Lebonan as the U.N. Resolution for an International Peace Keeping Force has collapsed because France caved into Islamic Pressure.

This Bible Code seems to indicate that Antichrist will be here in the year 5766 (2006). The Hebrew year of 5766 ends on SEPT 23 2006 when the Hebrew Calendar hits 5767. If GOD HAS DELAYED (meaning "as long as He could) then on AUG 22 2006 this Attack by Iran against Israel will happen and Trigger W.W.III.

FN: In all of my study of the Bible Code, I have seldom found an exact day and date, such as AUG 22 2006 (28 AV 5766) found in The Bible Code and encoded with such a clear warning and message. If AUG 22 is "Doomsday" than GOD would have most certainly made this day and date clear in the Bible Code.

This has my wackjob meter pinging about 9.7. Furthermore, most of this Bible code stuff is utter crap. One thing you'll never see the Bible code researchers do is discuss the source code of their algorithms with anyone. A similar technique to the Bible code was once used on the novel Moby Dick and it predicted all manner of crazy stuff. The only way this guy is right and the battle of Armageddon starts on Aug 22 is if he guessed it by sheer luck.

Therein lies the answer to your question. That statement is in direct opposition to the biblical statement of Christ that no one will know the day or time etc....

That is true, but it pertains to the time of His return. There are many prophecies in the Bible that are not related to The Second Coming. The Armageddon scenario is not necessarily linked to The End of the World, as it could be just the beginning of a time of great tribulation............

That's actually a deep theological question. It has no simple answer, and many brilliant people have discussed it and disagreed with each other about it. The famous issue of "predestination" is all about what God knows and when He knows it.
At the time Jesus made his statement, Jesus was still alive as a human being. I'm sure that He now knows ALL THERE IS TO KNOW about EVERYTHING...........
