Cleland, who flew in from his Georgia home yesterday for the event, offered a scathing rebuke of those who have questioned Murtha's patriotism."We need to end the Swift Boat attacks against men like John Murtha and wring their necks like a chicken," Cleland said. "Wring their necks like a chicken". That's not just rhetoric. That's a threat of violence. Does this man realize what he is saying?
The opponents, though, insist they are not affiliated with the Swift Boat veterans.
That's true, but it doesn't matter. I've seen up close and in person how the mind of the average Democrat perceives truth: If a Democrat says it, it must be true, even if it's not true. That's how Murtha's supporters think. That's what we're up against.
Idle threats from a true Democrat War Hero (one who got drunk, pulled the pin on a grenade, and blew his limbs off, and now is touted as a "War Hero").

I'm not too scared of a man who discarded his own limbs out of sheer stupidity and then tried to pass it off as a battle wound.
Cleland's a loud-mouthed, empty-headed punk, filled with guilt and remorse over what he did to himself, getting a much-unearned 'war hero' status ranking. He's a butt-wipe.
