Finally, note that I could not find mention of Frist and the classification of “political paranoia” after a lengthy Google news search. Mention of it only appeared on the Swift Report website. Rick Smith’s above quote returned no results. Of course, this does not mean that Bill Frist and the Republicans do not consider the opposition—including more than a few Democrats—as mental cases and tinfoil hatters. Rush Limbaugh calls us nutters every day and millions of gullible Americans take what he says as gospel.

And, to top it off, I can't see anywhere else on Google that Frist has a spokesman named Rick Smith. Apparently for you nutbars, the veracity of the facts don't matter, just as long as the claims fit your preconceptions.

I hear CBS is looking for some new research staffers, you'd fit right in.

Looks to me like you read a joke or a satire, took it seriously, and got your panties in a bunch for no reason at all. If so, you need to do one of two things. Get your facts straight and your head cleared.

Or lacking that, just sign up for Democratic Underground and post your nonsense there. They will take it seriously and jump on it like a duck on a June bug. Their support will be pure paranoia, but perhaps it will gratify you.
