Ncuti (pronounced Shooty) Gatwa, the first black “Doctor Who,” complained, “There’s so much white mediocrity that gets celebrated,” in a new interview.
Gatwa, an LGBTQ* Rwandan immigrant to the U.K., spoke out about a variety of identity-related grievances as the cover model of the “best-selling gay magazine” Attitude for its May/June issue.
When asked about whether he received backlash for being cast as the Doctor, who has primarily been played by white men throughout the decades, he responded that his critics need a better hobby, but also suggested his casting is part of a global shift, “[W]e do see a shift happening in casting, in positions of power and in the status quo. I mean, not a fast shift, things could tip over the other way a little bit quicker, but you see people kind of malfunctioning because things are changing.” […]
After rejecting the pressure of aspiring to “black excellence” to feel loved, he said, “What the hell? There’s so much white mediocrity that gets celebrated; and black people, we have to be absolutely flawless to get half of [that] anyway. So, I’m slowly training myself out of that and being like, ‘No s---. You deserve love just for existing.’” […]
Gatwa also used what some have argued is a slur against conservative, working-class white people, referring to them as “gammons,” saying, “[W]e’ve got to keep pushing for more. He’s really playing up the mixed race/handi capable angle now. It’s infuriating.

Yeah, you’re not a nerd. lol. Capaldi grew on me after about four episodes, although I hated him at first.
I watched the red-haired Dr. Who. The production quality was low, but somehow it was entertaining. I tried earlier Doctors. Again, the production quality was low, too low to be entertaining.
The Star Trek series were better. I stopped watching after the 3rd series. Perhaps I should give the woman captain a try. I think the movies became less and less entertaining.
I watched a murder mystery with David Tennant that had Jodi Whitaker as one of the major characters. She was such a whiney person in that performance that I was reluctant to watch her as the new Dr. I didn’t watch the series as it was dropped from BBC America, but saw her whininess front and center in all of the advertisements, thus didn’t bother to buy the series on DVD. And from the weekly recaps that I did read, the writing was entirely too woke for me. From what I’ve seen of this new Dr., I shan’t be paying to watch it, since it is also not being carried on BBC America.

Colin Baker played a different time lord opposite the fifth Doctor in “Arc of Infinity”, i.e. Commander Maxil. Capaldi played a Roman opposite the tenth Doctor.
How hard would it be to have say which he is? I assume it's G or B, although Q can mean literally anything.

Every farming and agricultural innovation
Every tool that exists
Every medical procedure
Every formidable weapon
Every process related to making clean water available
Every kitchen appliance
Anything useful made with metal, wood, or minerals
