We always need to read beyond the article headline and even beyond the contents of the article. Otherwise the media controls us.
We don’t (or at least I don’t) know the real details of what the boyfriend did or what the girl did. We only know how the journalist decided to present the story to us so that we would react emotionally.
I just think it is time for all of us to read articles and say “ok, so what is the real story here.” That’s all.
