Salon? You expect them to say anything nice about Trump? I also heard that Trump was not allowed to inspect the Pope’s troops, nor did they pass in review. The Pope’s Army didn’t even fire off a salute. Yeah, total disrespect from the revolution theologian. BFD, WGAS, he’s not my Pope, I didn’t vote for him.

The pope is an ass, and a president shouldn’t meet with him unless he intends to meet with the leaders of other religions. The fiction that the RCC is a “nation” only came about as a result of their 1920s deal with Mussolini.

Yeah. So? Tbis pope is not deserving of respect. He has place progressive political popularity over Catholic teachings.
Having this Pope be unhappy with Trump is a plus - he reminds me of a story where a man in a new town couldn’t find a church he was welcomed in because he didn’t “meet their standards”. He prayed about it and God responded, Don’t let it bother you, they won’t let me in either”.
