Black poverty is fundamentally distinct from white poverty--and so cannot be addressed without grappling with racism.
There have been a number of useful entries in the weeks since Senator Bernie Sanders declared himself against reparations. Perhaps the most clarifying comes from Cedric Johnson in a piece entitled, "An Open Letter To Ta-Nehisi Coates And The Liberals Who Love Him." Johnson's essay offers those of us interested in the problem of white supremacy and the question of economic class the chance to tease out how, and where, these two problems intersect. In Johnson's rendition, racism, in and of itself, holds limited explanatory power when looking at the socio-economic problems which beset African Americans. "We continue to reach for old modes of analysis in the face of a changed world," writes Johnson. "One where blackness is still derogated but anti-black racism is not the principal determinant of material conditions and economic mobility for many African Americans."
Johnson goes on to classify racism among other varieties of -isms whose primary purpose is "to advance exploitation on terms that are most favorable to investor class interests." From this perspective, the absence of specific anti-racist solutions from Bernie Sanders, as well as his rejection of reparations, make sense. By Johnson's lights, racism is a secondary concern, and to the extent that it is a concern at all, it is weapon deployed to advance the interest of a plutocratic minority....

Your neighborhood is sue to be targeted for “minority housing”; urban populations are being dispersed via Section 8 because they need white taxpaying populations to feed, clothe, house, and school our permanent underclass. Like the Quartering Act that preceded the American Revolution (where colonists were required to provide room & board to British troops), your settlement will be required to do the same for preferred minorities.
Ofcourse, we will be prosperous, have very little crime and lead in innovation and then everyone will want to live there.

Why do they keep talking about white supremacy? Blacks think whites are superior to blacks? Why aren’t they just talking about white majority? Whites are in the majority...Europeans, native Americans, Asians, and Hispanics are all white. Of course, whites are the majority in this country. If blacks want to be where blacks are the majority, they’ll need to go to a majority-black country.

“I’m thinking that maybe it’s time for white people to have their own cities, schools, neighborhoods, businesses, and etc. so we don’t offend black people merely by being white.”
That would be unfair because white children would have an unfair advantage growing up in cities that are clean, low crime, the ability to walk to school withouts threats or harrassment or stray bullets from one group dissed by another,and with classrooms full of interested children without non stop interruptions. That is the very definition of white privelege and the very reason it is necessary to force section 8 housing into “affluent” neighborhoods.

everyone knows how to get safe, quality education- everyone knows what it takes to lead a safe, happy and productive life. You have to live in a good neighborhood, and send your kids to a good school. We all know what I mean by “good.” I, for example, live in an exceptionally good neighborhood. I work very hard to live there, and it is very expensive but my family is worth it. I used to live in Southern California, where the neighborhoods are not very good, and neither are the schools. They have very bad schools there, in fact. They are getting worse by the day.

Sorry but the way the meaning of the word "White" has expanded argues just the opposite.
Around three hundred years ago, "white" was English and low German ancestry.
Two hundred years ago it had expanded to include the Dutch and all German ancestry.
One hundred years ago it meant most of European ancestry with the exception of the Italians and Irish.
Now it means all of European ancestry, the Slavic areas of Asia, part of India, most of Central and South America. It has become cultural to the point that really dark skinned people are included.
I figure in another hundred the concept will have lost all real meaning.
Or maybe realize after 50 years the Great Society is a failure and they need to start taking notes from someone like Thomas Sowell a very smart and self made man, also ditching the progressive politicians that are using the crap out of them who at the same time want illegal immigrants in the U.S. that will displace so called POC’s.
