Can you cite the names of some of the Southerners convicted of treason? Or is your claim of treason just something you decided to say?

Trick question? Lincoln didn't try either Lee or Davis for treason. No one was convicted of the crime but certainly could have been had Lincoln decided to do so. When Grant left for Appomattox Lincoln instructed him to ''Let them up easy''. Lincoln wanted to ‘’bind up the nations wounds’’ and to quite plainly get the nation back together.

Can you cite the names of some of the Southerners convicted of treason? Just because O.J. wasn't convicted of murder doesn't mean he didn't do it.
