“You’ve never once gave any pride in being an America, it’s a Southerner you seem most proud to be.” (sic)
In this back and forth, let’s all keep in mind that it was a Southerner, Thomas Jefferson, that wrote the Declaration of Independence.
It was a Southerner, James Madison, who wrote the Constitution.
It was a Southerner, George Mason, that wrote the Bill of Rights.
It was a Southerner, Patrick Henry, that mobilized the colonies with his famous speech.
It was a Southerner, George Washington, that became the Father of Our Country.
No matter how anyone feels about Lincoln’s War, I think we can all agree it was Southerners (with the help of some Northerners) that created America.
And Southerners who launched the bloodiest war in our history. So really you should be calling it Davis's War.
John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Robert R. Livingston wrote the Declaration of Independence.
And it was another generation who took up arms against the duly elected government of the United States. Hey bozo. I’ve had about all of you and your venerating of South treason and I’ve had more than enough of you so piss off.
