There are medical plans out there that run away screaming from anything related to male sexual dysfunction, even conditions with a clear organic cause -- as in certain diagnosis codes cann't be used, or the insurer will deny the entire claim. (This was pre-Obamacare; maybe it's different now, but I doubt it.)
Imagine if a woman went to the doctor for menopause symptoms and her insurer dumped the entire cost (about $1000 for a full workup) of the claim on her because the diagnosis noted that it caused problems in the bedroom?
