The Texas Tribune is a far-left outfit

I'm a Cruz bot myself, but this article being from a left wing source has as much credibility as the left wing articles that "prove" Walker is a GOPe toady.

Food for thought.

On Immigration, Cruz Aims for Middle Ground "Asked about what to do with the people here illegally, however, he stressed that he had never tried to undo the goal of allowing them to stay.

“The amendment that I introduced removed the path to citizenship, but it did not change the underlying work permit from the Gang of Eight,” he said during a recent visit to El Paso. Cruz also noted that he had not called for deportation or, as Mitt Romney famously advocated, self-deportation.......

------

So you choose to ignore direct quotes from Ted Cruz and instead circulate headlines that rely on 3rd party comments about Walker - from left leaning and lefty publications.

The hypocrisy is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

It has quotes from Ted Cruz that put him and Scott Walker on the same page.

I’ve believed there wasn’t much difference between them on this immigration issue for a while, in spite of the insistence to the contrary from some of my fellow Cruz bots.

We need to get back to policies that directly address this

Doing this would necessitate realizing one thing that many, many people do not want realized: That we are being invaded.
There's a lot of business interests against it, there's a lot of political interest against it (just like the NBC-clause, borders are indicative of nationalism, which is repugnant to the NWO/open-borders types in high governance), and any real action on this would be painted in as bad a brush as they could find. (Imagine, a moment, a Governor calling up the militia to secure the border w/ deadly force and how the news would spin it.)
