Exactly right, and it’s a stunt the left pulls on a regular basis because they can use it to hype their version of an incident. The word “Homicide” as used in an autopsy finding, simply means death at the hands of another. If the cause is determined, and it’s not suicide, natural causes, or misadventure (accident) it’ll be listed as homicide. The word, as used in an autopsy report, makes no judgment as to whether the killing was unlawful or not.

Homicide simply means death causes by another human. It doesn’t necessary mean it’s unlawful or intentional.
