As an Australian, I can't begin to try to answer any of that, but I think I can safely say that the long road back could be shortened somewhat by bringing to justice the self-confessed author of 'Dreams from my Father' for terrorist activities.
As someone who looks for humor wherever I can find it, your post is funny enough that ordinarily you would have had me rolling on the floor howling with laughter.
I've heard that good humor mixes truth and the absurd in a funny way and your post is hilarious, since there's fat chance of any of that happening.
Too bad the joke's on US, though, and worse, it sounds like a sad, lost it all, crying in my beer, country song.
