Obviously not! You don't get in trouble for pretending you have a brother.

The point is, you lied when you said, "He has a sterling reputation."

He owned up to it, because he got caught! And yet you continue to fantasize that he is a wonderful person? You say that you believe in hope and change?

He also said he treated women badly while he was in college. But he owned up to it and according to you, that was also a "long" time ago. Who knows what he meant by treating them badly? He slapped them around, forced himself on them? Rape and violence is commonplace and rarely punishable in Kenya, so who knows what he meant by badly.

Lets say the motivation to cheat on an exam is understood. Wrong, but understandable.

What is Mark’s motivation to lie about a brother he supposedly never had?

Not just your unsubstantiated opinion either; lets have some facts.
