When Rollins was asked about Mitt's problems in the south HE LAUGHED and said they would vote for Mitt because they don't have any other choice.

Which is exactly what the GOP-e is/are doing.

Rove, Rollins, Romney et al.

Laughing at the Republicans who they KNEW would go along with their running of a liberal like Romney.

That is how the big mucky mucks in the republican party feel about their base.

They think they can get enough votes from the ABO crowd, so they can continue to politically spit on Conservatives and Conservatism.

I'm not going along with that.

As long as "we" keep voting their leftist candidates in, they will continue to use "us" all the while laughing at what suckers "we" are.

At this point, the best chance we have to peacefully save our Republic as founded is to take the Republican party away from the GOP-e.

This is doable, but only from the bottom up, i.e. flood the GOP with real conservatives from the county level up to the state and national offices.

This has been happening, but will take more than a couple of election cycles to see it through.

And at this point in time, the GOP-e has the upper hand the further "up ticket" you go, but their power is steadily eroding, as seen by Mitt's VP pick, Dewhurst loosing to Cruz, etc.

The GOP-e knows that they would have absolutely no chance of holding any power if we did not support them.

So as much as I hate to see Mitt as President,I know all of us here agree that a second term for Obama is a guaranteed death sentence for the U.S. as founded.

Voting for Mitt should be considered as a tactical necessity needed to allow us to gain even more down ballot positions and nothing more.
