I don't think Obama would make it two years of a second term before impeachment. His own party would ditch him to make room for a better 2016 contender.

It will be a cold day in hell before the Senate Democrats vote to remove Obama from office.

Maybe, but let's look at the numbers. In November, 33 of the 100 Senate seats are up for grabs. Of these, 22 are Democrat or Democrat leaning Independent. Currently 47 Senators are Republicans. Which means we require a gain of 19 seats to achieve a 2/3rds majority. That's probably not going to happen; it would be unprecedented but not impossible. However, and this is a big one, an additional 20 Democrat Senators risk losing their seats in 2014. That makes 42 Democrats at risk over the next two years. With Obama in office making ALL Democrats look like Marxist thugs, you better believe they will turn on Obama in a New York minute to try and save what semblance of power that remains to them. Gaining 19 seats in two years when 42 are vulnerable, all with Obama poisoning the Democrat brand, is a walk in the park. Yes, I think when the time comes the Senate Democrats will help, and if they don't ... it won't matter because we won't need them. But that's only if Romney is not installed and does not have the opportunity to poison the Republican brand before 2014.
