That maybe the woman the man in the village in Kenya meant when he said the kenyan student had gone to the US, was working for an oil company and had married a woman named ANNA TOOT, we thought maybe ANNA was one of their family?
Oil Company? The eldest daughter Mary Agnes who arrived in the US two years before the bulk of the family, had married Oskar Van Beveren, a geologist for Standard Oil for 30 years. They married in Heliopolis in Egypt and lived in Hollywood.

btw, Annette the actress is bound to know another one of the characters in this saga. Hal Siddiqi, remember him? Last known, he’s working at a Seattle Theatre.
