All the stories, from Larry Sinclair, to Mssrs. Young, Bland and Spenser at Wright's Lounge, the roommate on the couch, the girlfriends out of thin air, the appearance of the "pair as wealthy and gay."
His views on same-sex marriage have evolved.

Douglass lists other reliable FBI sources as Abdul Basit Naeem, a Pakistani journalist who served as an NOI publicist. Hassan Sharrieff, Elijah Muhammad's grandson and Wallace Muhammad, Elijah Muhammad's son.
In 1957 Malcolm met in Harlem with visiting Indonesian President Achmed Sukarno, whom the CIA had targeted for removal from power. Sukarno was extremely impressed with Malcolm.
FBI Chicago field office told Hoover in January 1958 Malcolm had become Elijah's heir apparent. The COINTELPRO operation under William Sullivan announced:
The secret to disabling the (NOI) movement, therefore, lay in neutralizing Malcolm X.
The FBI began using the New York Police Department which had beat a Black Muslim, resulting in an angry crowd of 2,600 blacks which Malcolm peacefully dispersed with a wave of his hand--causing a police inspector to comment, "No man should have that much power."

At the same time, the CIA was reportedly planning to murder Malcolm and his travels to England and France were being tracked by practically the entire U.S. intelligence network.
Zero was in Indonesia when the deal went down February 21, 1965 at the Audubon Ballroom in Harlem. John Ali met with confessed assassin Talmadge Hayer the night before Malcolm X was killed. John Ali described by Louis Lomax as a former FBI agent.
Robert Mueller is retained for two additional years; the Bureau holds sensitivity sessions vis-a-vis treatment of Muslims.
John Brennan was first choice as DCI; Brennan has been in the vanguard of removing any connection in the official record of the words Muslim and terrorism.

IMO, the Manning book points to Malcolm X having been a homosexual prostitute and live-in boy-toy and servant for a wealthy white homosexual and points to Malcolm X not being very interested in having sex with women, period...black or white...other than for keeping up appearances of being a good Muslim.
The suggestion that he might had had one or two affairs with women outside his marriage are not developed and the race of the women is not posted, but you can be sure that if the women were WHITE it would be in neon letters. If anything, the Manning revelations make it much LESS likely that Malcolm X had anything to do with any white woman, especially a Christian, Valerie Sarruf, IMO.
I didn’t know all that stuff about MX. No wonder he wanted to hide his son carefully.
