President Joe Biden was supposed to put the nation’s mind at ease over his physical and mental capacity with his debate showing Thursday night. But from the onset of the debate, the 81-year-old seemingly struggled even to talk, mostly summoning a weak, raspy voice. In the opening minutes, the president repeatedly tripped over his words, misspoke and lost his train of thought. In one of the most notable moments, Biden ended a rambling statement that lacked focus by saying, “We finally beat Medicare,” before moderators cut him off and transitioned back to Trump. … Trump also pounced on Biden, saying...

We knew Judge Aileen Cannon likely wouldn't rule right away on the multiple motions heard before her over the past week in the classified documents case against former President Donald Trump. The issues are complicated, and there are a lot of moving parts in the case. So when I first saw the headline: "Cannon rejects Trump claims FBI botched Mar-a-Lago search," I was a bit surprised at the swiftness of the ruling. And I figured Trump and his legal team were likely disappointed with the ruling. Then I took a closer look (always recommended). Here's how The Hill frames it:...

The economy is a major issue in the presidential campaign. It is the top issue for most voters. Joe Biden is underwater when it comes to polling on the economy. A majority of voters think that former President Trump handled the economy better than Biden is doing. One simple question should be asked of voters - are you better off today than four years ago? The answer is overwhelmingly no. So, taking a page from the 2020 election playbook, Team Biden released a letter on Tuesday - two days before the first presidential debate - that is signed by '16...

I believe it is a fair question to ask and i believe the answer is yes. More likely the LW commie NY judge tries to put President Trump in prison.

John King of CNN reports: Right now as we speak there is a deep, a wide, and a very aggressive panic in the Democratic party. It started moments into the debate and it continues right now. It involves strategists, party officials and fundraisers, and they are having conversations about the president's performance, which they think was dismal.

Earlier today I wrote about the state of national polling as we head into tonight's debate (which still hasn't started as I write this). But in that review I missed this Gallup poll which seems to jibe well with that earlier post. Basically what Gallup sees is that Biden has a lot less enthusiasm on his side. In fact, a majority of Democrats are still day-dreaming about another candidate. The poll finds that about twice as many Republicans are pleased with Trump being the GOP nominee as Democrats are with Biden leading their party’s ticket...Republicans (79%) are nearly twice as likely...

Watching the debate, I kept wondering why Biden kept looking to his left so much of the time tonight I thought the cameras were reversed and Trump was on his left. The more I watched, I realized his blank stare to the left became more curious. Was Dr Jill stage left feeding him signals ala a third base coach? Or was it just a vacant stare not knowing where he was?

After Thursday night’s debate performance, one thing is crystal clear: The national Democratic Party must immediately announce they will seek to replace President Joe Biden as the presumptive candidate. We can do better than this. There are still nearly two months before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, scheduled for late August. Thursday’s debate made it clear that Biden must be replaced as the candidate with someone — anyone. Even California Gov. Gavin Newsom. It could be a Hail Mary play for the ages, bringing Newsom in to save the day like a handsome Hollywood leading man in a Sorkinesque...

The Biden campaign put word out to reporters midway through Thursday night’s presidential debate in Atlanta that Joe Biden has been sick with a cold for the past several days. Biden started the debate looking dazed, with his voice shot and telling an inexplicable blatant lie that no U.S. troops died around the world during his presidency.

A brute caught-on-camera beating a Queens deli worker unconscious was nabbed this week Osvel Diaz, 29, was charged with attempted murder following his arrest Wednesday evening in the June 17 beatdown at Sunnyside Mini Market Deli in Woodside that left the 62-year-old employee with internal bleeding The career criminal didn’t say a word as two detectives escorted him out of the 108th Precinct station house in Long Island City has 25 prior arrests, mostly for robbery Surveillance video showed the two exchanging words before the green-haired man turns around, gets in Abdul’s face and starts ruthlessly raining blows on his...

On CNN, it is reported Democrats are thinking, "Biden's performance was dismal... some of the conversations include should we go to the White House to ask the President to step aside.

I was texting a friend during the debate, and I remarked when it concluded and went to break, "If the CNN analysts trash Biden, the convention swap is on". Chyron-Dems saying "we have a problem" after Biden's performance tonight.

It was a first — a debate between a president and a former president. And it was likely watched as much out of morbid curiosity as interest in the election, which is also a first. The questions going in were whether Donald Trump could control himself, and whether Joe Biden could hold it together for 90 minutes. The answer to the first question was “yes.” To the second? “Not so much.”

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Valley woman has a warning for her fellow Tesla drivers after getting trapped in her car. When its power went out, she had no idea how to get out of her car, and she was far from alone. Diane has owned her Model Y for about three years without serious complaints. “Pretty happy,” she said. “It’s a fun car to drive.” But that changed last month when she tried to go for a drive. “It was fully charged,” she said. “I unplugged the car, went to get in my car, shut the door, and everything just...

Verónica Garcia did not hear the boos when the race started last weekend. When she took the lead in the State 2A girls 400-meter run at the track and field championships in Tacoma, they grew in volume and became unmistakable as she reached the finish line to become the first transgender high school athlete to place first in state. Such victories are typically a time for celebration but the East Valley High School junior’s win has sparked controversy. People criticized Garcia all season for participating on the girls track team. Yet the jeers at Saturday’s meet were “a bit...

With the Democratic National Convention less than two months away, a coalition of community organizations voiced “serious concerns” Thursday about the Chicago Police Department’s newly revised mass arrest policy. The overhaul stems from closed-door meetings authorized by the federal judge presiding over the department’s court-ordered reform push after the so-called consent decree coalition warned that an earlier version of the policy “eviscerates protections” that are otherwise granted to protesters. In a court filing, the coalition acknowledges the latest draft policy contains various “improvements,” including changes that ban the controversial containment tactic known as “kettling” and prohibit officers from arresting protesters...
