LOS ANGELES - LAPD detectives responding to a burglary alarm at a Chatsworth Pharmacy ran into a wall of fog, quite literally, coming out of the business.
The relatively new security device seems to have deterred the would-be burglars, as they had disappeared with nothing seemingly taken, LAPD Detective Marc Vito Cruz said.

I wonder if the EPA will ban the fog machine for contributing to Climate Change. After all, dense fog can be scary for people. It’s probably also scary for the Erf.

I saw one demonstrated a week or so ago. It took a matter of seconds to fill a room.

The makers of the device use some sort of fluid to make the fog. But they say the fog itself is dry.
Clever.
What would really be good would to have something make gunshot or vicious dog noises once the room fills with fog.

then an ear-piercing wail with “GAS! GAS! GAS!” repeated several times. Do this in English, Espanol and maybe in Standard Madeiran.

I fully expect the State Labor Department to investigate ande fine this business owner for creating a “hostile work environment” preventing these boys from doing their jobs...

Might be? I think hilarity would be guaranteed! Perhaps add some sprays just outside the exits that would would lay down a nice layer of lubricant so that the perps couldn’t even stand up as they were scrambling to get out.
Not really new. We were toned out on a structure fire probably 20 years ago that turned out to be a “Smoke Cloak.” No one knew it had been installed. There was about zero visibility when we arrived.

Try going to a place where the ILLEGAL AILENS are in large numbers (in front of a Home Depot, Lowe's, Food Stamp, etc) and start yelling "IMMIGRATION !!! CBP !!! FEDERALLIES !!!" It's like walking into a room and turning on the lights and seeing the cockroaches scatter.
