KYIV, Ukraine (AP) – The Ukrainian village of Ocheretyne has been battered by fighting, drone footage obtained by The Associated Press shows. The village has been a target for Russian forces in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine.
Russian troops have been advancing in the area, pounding Kyiv’s depleted, ammunition-deprived forces with artillery, drones and bombs. Ukraine’s military has acknowledged the Russians have gained a “foothold” in Ocheretyne, which had a population of about 3,000 before the war, but says that fighting continues.

Why are there no AP reporters embedded with Ukraine military units as was done in Iraq? Rather than parrot whatever comes from the Zelensky gov’t.
I say Zelensky gov’t rather than Ukraine gov’t because their election day was this past Sunday and no election was held.
Their constitution forbids them from holding elections under martial law.

There were some, but most of them were killed in artillery or missile strikes. The CNN reporter Clarissa Ward was with drawn because the danger was overwhelming.
Also, US forces are no longer embedding the press, as it was a disaster with reporters in Iraq announcing US battle plans for the day.

St Z becomes an illegitimate President on May 21st…many sovereign nations are questioning the how and when the Marshall Law clause was “ inserted”. Many in Ukraine say the Rada ( their Congress was bought off) was corrupted.

Everyone knows their Congress ( like ours is bought and paid for) is corrupted. The Martial Law can be suspended any time, especially for a few days to vote, they keep extending the clause because they know St Z wouldn’t win- despite what western MSM says.
….and the most important reason- the Western welfare money train would end.

Are you unaware that it is Putin who refuses to negotiate with Zelensky and is calling for Ukraine's unconditional surrender?
More than a year and untold billions and this will soon end exactly as it would have.
Ukraine has a battalion that waves Nazi flags while Russia has invaded and seeks to subjugate another country, bombs its cities, and calls for its unconditional surrender. But we need to worry about a handful of extremists rather than the latter. Let us also be clear whom Putin claims are Nazis. It is not just the ones waving flags. It is any Ukrainian nationalist who resists Russian subjugation.
