I have been a speaker for MADD for a year now on Victim Impact Panels, talking to convicted drunk drivers. All I lost is a leg and 2 years of my life, I cant imagine losing a child, but that is why I speak hopefully i might convince one person to call a cab.

When I talk to Law Enforcement Officers I say "If someone shoots into an occupied school, is it any less violent if nobody gets hit?"

It never ceases to amaze me that people like you, and the mother of that child, can do the work you do. The mother of that little girl became our spokes person. She began speaking at schools. She humbled us all with her strength and focus.
