BAGHDAD, Iraq, Jun 13, 2002 (United Press International via COMTEX) -- Iraq alleged Thursday that the United States has a secret plan to use nuclear weapons against it and five other countries, apparently talking about a "nuclear posture review" plan drawn up by the Pentagon last year. Foreign Minister Naji Sabri said the plan was directed at Iraq, Iran, Syria, China, Libya and North Korea.

Iraq, Iran, Syria, China, Libya and North Korea.

Great list! I nominate France for inclusion on it, too.

Plans ? Absolutely. Hell, we were making practice runs with dummy atomic bombs over Pyongyang from 1950 to '53. I've read that it got Kim Il Sung's mind focused really well. Suspect the "policy review" is intended to serve much the same purpose.

What gave Saddam his first clue? Did somebody leak Rumsfeld practicing his line?

hchutch, you GOTTA use the whole Rumsfeld monologue here:

"I know what you're thinking. Did the skipper of the Nebraska fire 24 missiles or only 23? Well, to tell you the truth, in all this excitement, he kinda lost track himself. But being that this is a Trident submarine, the most powerful SSBN in the world, and one shot would blow Baghdad and its suburbs clean off the map, you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

One would think that the Iraqi elites would start to see the writing on the wall and begin making secret overtures to the US. Time to do what the Russians did......."if you can't beat them......join them".

Too bad it's a secret plan. I'd just as soon let them know for sure that it's coming.

Duh, if Iraq or any of these other tinpot countries use an NBC weapon, they are going to get a nuke down their chimney. Of course the plans are in place.

Poor Saddam thinks that the American people are actually going to say, "oh, no, say it ain't so.." LOL I hope we have 20 of those megatonners aimed at every major city and palace he's got. Iraq, use one NBC weapon and you'll glow in the dark for the next thousand years. And we'll still figure out a way to get your oil!! Evil grin!! :D
