SAUDIS THROW U.S. COMMAND CENTER EQUIPMENT INTO DESERT TO ROT-Convinced of 'Back Door' Monitoring..
DEBKA Hebrew Version and World Net Daily.com ^ | April 21, 2002 GMT | Giora Shamis Chief Edior and CEO and Diane Shalem English Editor

Also in the new update for Monday (very long)..

Saudis will hold an oil boycott with Venezuela if Isreal does not launch new attacks with no major retaliations for bombings within 10 to 14 days.

This will enable the Bush Summit to proceed as planned, embargo to be postponed after the Bush-Abdullah talks at the ranch later this month.

Saudi Arabia has disconnected all the US equipment from the Prince Sultan air base east of Ridayh boxed it up and dumped in the desert.

They believe that the U.S. can monitor their army and Air Force movements from a 'back door' in the control equipment.

Can someone explain to me what the importance of Debka is? Or what weight of relevance do they have to offer that keeps their articles posted on here?? I'm just curious. I've heard of Debka, but I was never really sure what their point was.

I would sure hope we have a back door. I would also hope we have the ability to disable electronics in military hardware we sell the bastards...

I thought Debka had just assured us that Abdullah was refusing to meet with Bush. I guess this is as close to a retraction as we'll see from this pathetic source.

Their point appears to be making stuff up. Their credibility is zip, zero, nada.

This is absolute, complete, B.S.. Prince Sultan Air Base is still (unfortunately) being used by the U.S. and its allies in the same manner it has been for the last 10 years. Debka continues its nearly perfect record for getting everything wrong.

The DEBKA track record, based on what I've been reading from them, seems a bit spotty. Some corroboration would be nice.

On the other hand, I suppose, as with the Drudge Report, if you want news from the bleeding edge, you should be prepared to take it cum grano salis.

If have to give them credit for having very fertile imaginations. They probably would make more money writing Tom Clancy style thrillers, than dreaming up this stuff for a newsletter.

Also from DEBKA the Jordanian ruler has put the country under de-facto military rule, transferred his assets out of region banks and is planning an escape to Egypt VIA his summer palace.

Is there something going down soon?

The amazing thing is that some people (even some people here) actually pay for a Debka subscription.

It's like an ongoing IQ test.

Other Imal quotes:

"The RMS Titanic's maiden voyage did not end in an entirely satisfactory manner."

"Playing with matches while standing in a pool of gasoline could pose some minor risks to one's health."

"Bill Clinton's record for veracity is not without a few blemishes here and there."
