Saudis Pledge Up to $20 Million for Clinton Library
Newsmax | Saturday March 30, 2002; 11:31 a.m. EST

Disgraced ex-president Bill Clinton, whose disdain for national security over the last eight years is widely believed to have rendered the U.S. vulnerable to last fall's terrorist attacks, is set to collect millions of dollars from Saudi Arabia, home to fifteen of the nineteen 9/11 hijackers.

Estimates of Clinton's expected Saudi jackpot range from "less than $1 million to $20 million," according to columnist Robert Novak, who cites high-ranking members of the Saudi royal family as the source for the information.

In addition to the hijackers, al Qaeda terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden is a Saudi national, and most of his family now live in the country.

Ostensibly U.S. allies, Saudi leaders have refused to allow American pilots to use U.S.-built airbases in the country to fight the war on terrorism, and have been described as uncooperative in 9/11 related investigations.

On Thursday Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah planted a kiss on the cheek of a top Iraqi official during a Mideast Arab summit, in a move widely seen as a slap against the Bush administration, which has identified Iraq as a member of the "Axis of Evil."

Clinton's Saudi windfall comes in the form of a pledge to his presidential library foundation in Little Rock, Ark. A library spokesman would neither confirm nor deny the donation.

Former senior Clinton advisor Dick Morris has described the library donor account as a "slush fund" which the former first family will divert to their own personal use.

The ex-president was also paid a $750,000 speaking fee when he traveled to Saudi Arabia three months ago, Novak said.

The Saudi pledge follows what Novak describes as "a similar gift to the elder George Bush's presidential library." The Bush library lists the Saudi contribution among "gifts of $1 million and above." The donor is identified as the family of the Saudi ambassador to the U.S., Prince Bandar bin Sultan.

Novak did not say whether the Bush donation was accepted before or after Sept. 11.

There is a big difference between George HW Bush's relationship with the Saudi's and Clinton's. This is sickening. I hate Clinton, I hate him, his family, and everyone he knows.

Thanks to Clinton the Saudi's were able to export and maintain the Jihad states of Bosnia and the NATO protected Jihad entity of Kosovo. $20 million is a great way to say thank you to Clinton.

'Described as uncooperative' by whom? Everything I've heard from Bush administration officials would seem to indicate that the Saudis have provided everything they've been asked for. Sloppy journalism from Newsmax, IMHO.

This should go over real well with the poor fools who sent in their $39.00 because they got a fundraising letter from James Carville, begging them to support Clinton's library.

Admiral, I'm sure you'd agree this is just another shrewd investment for the Saudis. The Moslems don't like infidels, and the Toon is one of the greatest infidels in modern history. They would spit on him if they had the chance.

But now that Hillary is in the Senate, and may run for president, or if Bill becomes the high poobah at the UN, it's a well thought-out contribution, isn't it?

If the Klinton's never attain these ambitious goals, so what? One to twenty mil is chump change for the princelings of darkness.

Yes, they had such excellent luck with Bubba. They are now counting on Mrs. Bubba to finish off the job that her husband started, that is to pressure Israel into giving away the store and marching quietly into the sea.

And, Prince Abdullah, if you wouldn't mind, make that $1 million to $20 million in $20's, $50's, and $100's please

Thanks, Bill

I hate clinton.... You are not alone who feel disgust, and hatered for this poor excuse of a human being. Millions of good Americans are with you. But to our frustration, the clintons have so far escaped justice. Satan is indeed also powerfull, but Christ has dominion over evil, and someday, justice will be brought to them(the Clintons).

It's real simple. We have troops in country. Seventh Fleet. Take over the oil fields. Badda Boom Badda Bing. These rag heads will fold like a wet suit.

Seriously. We should take over the entire region oil wise. Irag, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, UAE, etc. Who would stop us. No one. Pay them for their oil. But, we would have a stable supply. Break up OPEC!
