BRADENTON -- The Florida Professional Firefighters and the local district of the Fraternal Order of Police have endorsed Secretary of State Katherine Harris in her race for Congress.

The firefighters group, the state affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters union, praised Harris' "support and unwavering friendship" during her time as a state senator and secretary of state.

The FOP's District 3 includes Sarasota, Manatee and Charlotte counties.

I love Katherine Harris and hope that she wins. The Democrats went after her because she did something that they did not like: she did her job and upheld the law.

I hope Florida voters elect her. I have a lot of respect for her for standing tall in the face of the Democratic Parties' corruption, criminal conduct, and outright treason. The lying bast**** will stop at nothing to win, will do anything to undermine American values, but damnfools continue to vote for them. How did we go from freedom and honor to lies and treachery in one mans' lifetime?
