One of my favorite “elective” classes was “Abnormal psychology”. The instructor was a retired Boeing company shrink, quite the character. What I learned from that class is most non-medical mental problems are learned behaviors. If it is medical you see a Psychiatrist(an MD).
When you are talking to a Psychologist you have a learned behavior that needs to be un-learned to be considered “Normal”.
I earned an “A” in that class.
