The presidents of the two largest teachers unions in the country, the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), are supporting the impeachment inquiry on President Trump, announced Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Tuesday.

Now that they have solved all the educational problems in the country, they will now try to disenfranchise 1/2 the voters.....
So the teachers union wants to start a war, does it?
This coming from the employees of the liberal, democrat indoctrination centers of our youths.
They need to check out the status of teachers under socialism.
Considering Trump’s economic policies are the only thing keeping so many public pension funds afloat, these so-called educators need their heads examined...
Taxpayers will win this one.
Note to teachers: States can’t print money, boneheads. So when your pensions funds go bust and y’all come demanding money for bailouts, we’ll remember this. Then tell you to sod off.

Seriously, 8 years of zero interest under Obama must have put a terrible dent in union pension funds.

Public pension funds are underfunded to the tune of trillions. Employees were and are way overpromised, and the people running the damn things set insane ROIs.
The public employees I know are aware of all this and don’t care, one employee excepted, how badly they have to beggar taxpayers to get what they were promised.
I don’t think we have the slightest clue as to just how deep the Marxist penetration of our Republic has become, government, church, education, MSM.
They should both be swinging from their communist necks!

IMHO, I have little to no respect for teachers. This coming from someone who always aspired to become one, when they had awesome respect. NOT NOW
I don’t know about the NEA. But I do know that the AFT leadership cannot claim to represent the views of their teachers. And that’s because the AFT leadership is not elected by their teachers.
Here’s how it works. A slate is hand-picked by the local union boss, then rubber-stamped by a rigged local vote. I suppose it happens occasionally somewhere, but I have never seen an independent teacher get on that slate. The local slate goes to the national convention.
And then the national convention elects the AFT president. It’s all very Stalinist. You would think that an organization that believes in democracy so much would allow for the direct election of the national leadership. But nope.
By the way, while the national leadership is far left, the average teachers pretty much mirror society as a whole. You’ve got your Bernie Bro’s. But you’ve also got your MAGA folks.
