Majorities of likely Iowa Democratic caucus participants say any candidate who hopes to win their support must favor a woman's right to abortion, recognize climate change as humanity's greatest threat, and support restoration of a ban on assault-style weapons, according to a new CNN/Des Moines Register/Mediacom poll.
Other issues, including recent campaign touchstones such as support for Medicare for All, free tuition for public four-year colleges and restoration of felon voting rights are must-haves for less than half of caucusgoers, regardless of whether they plan to participate virtually or in person.

I am starting to believe that climate change is the greatest threat to humanity. Now if the lefties can provide proof beyond the shadow of a doubt, I’ll start doing my part. Until then, they can all go pound sand.
I have a couple who don’t think I need my guns, but they are my wife’s friends so that really doesn’t count and I have to tolerate them for her sake.
I do however make it a point to have them “accidentally” laying around whenever I know one will show up. My wife rolls her eyes, but she gets me so plays dumb as to why the .50 BMG needs t be sitting by the doorwall in case I see a beaver swimming around in the lake behind the house.
Typically out of touch Democrat Iowans, but the MSM will continue to tell us that these people are the heartbeat of America.
So maybe they just judiciously keep their mouths shut.
Those are, of course, the useful idiots who currently can't understand why the streets of San Francisco are full of feces, the streets of LA are full of homeless camps, and the dams are breaking, the electricity is no longer reliable and the bathrooms at the fast food joints are full of needles.
Illegal invasion should be the top concern. The climate change hoax is definitely a threat pushed by a bunch of watermelons. Wait a minute. Iowa. Watermelons. Corn. Vegetables. There could be a connection.
Killing kids.
Doom-mongering.
Restricting constitutional freedoms.
Sounds like a real list of important stuff.....yeah.
I just heard my USMC Dad yelling "you better not let another man touch that!", but my real comment was: Well, maybe they have not come right out and said that they want to grab your, ahem...firearms, but these are lefties, right?
As a former resident of the state of Iowa, I’m not surprised. (Left in 1977 and NEVER went back.)

I’ve known a number of liberals who are more pro gun than the typical “Golfers with Guns” I meet at my club. This issue will and has crossed ideological lines.
It doesn’t make any sense but there it is.
Climate Change and Gun Control are two items which will NOT play in the Midwest Battleground States.
