I keep banging on about The Narrative™, and there is a reason. There is rarely a correlation between what the mainstream media puts out and what is actually true. Sure, they are perfectly willing to report facts when they don't upset their narrative, but the goal of their "reporting" is to reinforce a false view of the world that corresponds with their ideological priors.
This is how we get years of propaganda that insists that parents face a choice between a live daughter or a dead son. Never, ever have the statistics even hinted that this is the case. There was zero evidence of this assertion, yet it was made every day, several times a day, to "prove" that children needed to be sterilized and mutilated in the most horrific ways in order to preserve mental health.
The Cass Review and other systematic studies done in recent years have conclusively shown that the evidence base for alphabet ideology doesn't exist, and now studies are being done on the victims who have been put through these medieval tortures.
The evidence says the opposite of what we were told is true. In fact, things are much much worse than people imagine.
A new study just published looked into the evidence and, guess what? It turns out that suicide attempts skyrocket after surgery. Not just a bit. Not even a lot – a doubling would be a lot, right?
No, people who get "life-saving" surgeries are 12.12 times more likely to attempt suicide than those who haven't.
Introduction With the growing acceptance of transgender individuals, the number of gender affirmation surgeries has increased. Transgender individuals face elevated depression rates, leading to an increase in suicide ideation and attempts. This study evaluates the risk of suicide or self-harm associated with gender affirmation procedures. Methods This retrospective study utilized de-identified patient data from the TriNetX (TriNetX, LLC, Cambridge, MA) database, involving 56 United States healthcare organizations and over 90 million patients. The study involved four cohorts: cohort A, adults aged 18-60 who had gender-affirming surgery and an emergency visit (N = 1,501); cohort B, control group of adults with emergency visits but no gender-affirming surgery (N = 15,608,363); and cohort C, control group of adults with emergency visits, tubal ligation or vasectomy, but no gender-affirming surgery (N = 142,093).
Propensity matching was applied to cohorts A and C. Data from February 4, 2003, to February 4, 2023, were analyzed to examine suicide attempts, death, self-harm, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) within five years of the index event. A secondary analysis involving a control group with pharyngitis, referred to as cohort D, was conducted to validate the results from cohort C. Results Individuals who underwent gender-affirming surgery had a 12.12-fold higher suicide attempt risk than those who did not (3.47% vs. 0.29%, RR 95% CI 9.20-15.96, p < 0.0001).
Compared to the tubal ligation/vasectomy controls, the risk was 5.03-fold higher before propensity matching and remained significant at 4.71-fold after matching (3.50% vs. 0.74%, RR 95% CI 2.46-9.024, p < 0.0001) for the gender affirmation patients with similar results with the pharyngitis controls. Conclusion Gender-affirming surgery is significantly associated with elevated suicide attempt risks, underlining the necessity for comprehensive post-procedure psychiatric support.
What this study shows is that suicidality remains high after surgery, which confirms other studies which show that suicide attempts and suicidality don't change at any stage in the transition process. People going into the process are more suicidal than those who don't have gender dysphoria, and those who come out the other end of the process remain suicidal.
A Dutch study has shown that suicide risks remain at about the same rate regardless of where they are in the transition process. That is because they are mentally ill, not because they are "transgender" and need affirming care.
An American case study of a suicidal child found that a patient, mirroring many others, was actually dissatisfied with her weight and translated this into gender dysphoria. The "gender-affirming" treatment made her more sad and depressed, indicating again that misdiagnosis based on prior ideological commitments is harming children. This happens all the time.
Social transition, puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery are not treatments for severe mental illness. They are butchery – no better and arguably worse than lobotomies.
The suicide risk has nothing to do with gender dysphoria. That is what the evidence says. It is higher than average before the treatments and higher than average after.

Let’s just say that in a Gallup poll, If Politician A were up against Politician B by 1200% in the polls, I’d bet my entire 401K that Politician A wins.
Of course the medical community would push for the reverse of what they really should be doing, which is dealing with the psychiatric issues long before even considering any surgical solutions.
I wonder if the percentage of suicide is even worse for those whose parents (usually the mother) had them altered well before reaching 18 years old.
Using that statistic....I’d stand out of the way, and just let the numbers cure the ‘problem’. If you also asked if attacks upon relatives/doctors are up within this group....that’s also probably a 1200-percent number.

The trans-cult claims that the reason that there are so many suicides after surgery is because the people get bullied or their families shun them.
Even before surgery, the trans-cult tells their followers to disown their families if they don’t accept their new gender. “If they really loved you they would.”
I’ve read stories about college students that were affirmed by EVERYONE - friends, family, school and even their churches; they still killed themselves.
One boy said in his note “I realize that I will never be the perfect woman.” (What female - or male - ever is!?)
It is so sad for these people, and a travesty in mental health and medicine. It WILL go the way that lobotomies went, but how many lives will be ruined before then?
There are stories though of people leaving the cult, and getting the mental health help that they REALLY need, so that gives me hope.
Obviously something so stupid as “The reason you think and feel like this is because you are really the other sex” is not going to be the solution. So several years later they STILL have the same mental problems, combined with terrible physical problems.
Obviously, it’s mentally ill people who are seeking to mutilate their genitals.

I have a doc friend who is a clinical psychologist. He refuses to deal with people that want “gender affirming surgery”. He told me that almost all of these poor souls are desperately seeking attention. He also said that the suicidal rate for these people is through the roof.
It’s been at 46-48% success rate on suicides...wonder why the government and military promotes it?
Unless politician B engages in massive amounts of election fraud, like Biden did.
Unhappy teens get told that submitting to sexual mutilation will make them happy and then discover they are still unhappy and irreversibly neutered.
Why don’t they save taxpayers’ money (these procedures are clearly paid for by taxpayers) and kill themselves *before* the surgery?
