Democrat candidates in my neck of the woods are saying just that on their TV ads. They’re using the word “shrinkflation”, and they’re promising to crack down on it.
The scary part is that if they “win” (see my tagline), they might actually do a crackdown. More laws, more regulations, more harassment of businesses.
The basic philosophy is that Market Economies are bad and lead to inflation and shortages.
But Centrally Planned Economies are double-plus good.
The Democrats intend to fix everything by just giving us more communism.
Sherrod Brown just aired the “Shrinkflation” campaign commercial promising to crack down on greedy corporations. Someone should ask him what their Profit Margins are.
