The judge says the Internet dating service Great Expectations has to refund all their fees after dashing their expectations. One woman was refunded the $1,000 she paid for a six-month membership. The other gets the nearly $3,800 she paid for a 54-month deal. The judge said, "There was a massive overcharge by the dating service." Great Expectations had claimed its operation was set up in a way so that the state's Dating Services Law did not apply to it. It plans to appeal the ruling.
