A report in Huffington Post recently revealed the case of Wikipedia editor Ed Sussman, who was paid by media clients such as NBC and Axios to help diminish critical material. Paid editors operating in a similar manner to Sussman have worked on behalf of CNN contributor Hilary Rosen and the CEOs of Reddit and Intel, among other clients. Other conduct by Sussman not covered by the Huffington Post shows him authoring fluff pieces for NBC executives and getting his proposed changes approved by another paid Wikipedia editor.

Wikipedia pretends to be a new kind of  crowd-sourced, non-profit “people’s encyclopedia” containing fair and unbiased material.  In theory, anyone is allowed to edit material, thus providing a wide range of input rather than one expert’s ideas as in conventional encyclopedias. A Democratic congressional staffer was arrested Wednesday and accused of posting the personal information of at least one Republican senator during last week's hearing about sexual assault claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, authorities said.

Heartless people just doxxed Orrin Hatch while he was speaking and his poor wife has been receiving calls nonstop ON HER BIRTHDAY and their home address was made public. This is how low they will go. Jackson Cosko, who calls himself a “Democratic Political Professional” with cybersecurity expertise, is accused of crimes for allegedly doxing Republican Senators during the Brett Kavanaugh/Christine Blasey Ford hearings. The United States Capitol Police arrested the suspect who allegedly “posted private, identifying information (doxing) about one of more United States Senators to the internet,” a statement said. According to Legistorm, he worked for U.S. Sen. Maggie Hassan (D-NH) and previously worked for Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA). A September 2018 letter from Sheila Jackson Lee (D -TX) identifies him as a staffer for her office.
