WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The United States, Australia and Canada have voiced concerns to China over a test in space of a satellite-killing weapon last week, the White House said on Thursday. "The U.S. believes China's development and testing of such weapons is inconsistent with the spirit of cooperation that both countries aspire to in the civil space area," National Security Council spokesman Gordon Johndroe said. The Monessen Civic Center was closed Friday until authorities can figure out what caused several people who were attending a book fair there last week to experience problems with their eyes and "sunburned skin." Mayor John DeLuca said yesterday that the decision to shut down the center was made during a meeting between city council and the city's civic and recreation authority.
