How can a pardon be granted to illegal aliens who have stolen Social Security numbers and other personal identities, and not to other citizens who may have done the same things for other reasons? I thought the laws applied equally to everyone. Is this legal? I guess it is if our Emperor says it is.

I always thought that most of what goes on in govt today equates to racketeering. I believe the public is routinely defrauded by public officials. By deception, obamacare was enacted and now the public must pony up under the program or pay fines. Here's a FindLaw definition of racketeering: "1 : the extortion of money or advantage by threat or force 2 : a pattern of illegal activity (as extortion and murder) that is carried out in furtherance of an enterprise (as a criminal syndicate) which is owned or controlled by those engaged in such activity " And here's one...

After about 10 years with gmail.com, I've decides to migrate to a new email address. I figure it will take few months, and will insert a forward rule in my current gmail account. I'd like to find another free provider if possible. I don't mind using a service that wraps advertising around received message, but I don't want to use a provide that wraps around sent messages. I know about reagan.com but they charge. I know they advertise explicitly that they do not browse messages for social engineering, advertising ... etc. That attracts me and if I do choose a...

Open Letter to Mitch McConnell Congratulations on your win. It is commendable that you were able to keep another liberal Democrat from gaining a foothold in the US Senate. For that, you deserve thanks and credit.  Now, though, after the huge Republican win, it's time for you to recuse yourself from consideration for the Majority Leader position.  Unfortunately you have been too divisive and polarizing over the past year.  Your extreme comments against fellow Republicans make it such that you've spent too much goodwill among the whole Big Tent.  Your comments in fact amount to a conflict of interest in...

This new Congress MUST represent the people of the country now. With Common Core, our grade school students are being asked to repeat the tenets of Islam. I thought religion wasn't allowed in the schools? Common Core Head, Arne Duncan, withholds education monies, required to be sent to the Federal Gov't from ALL states, from states that don't go with Common Core. With Obamacare, the Fed Gov't is already sucking up Health dollars for other purposes, not having anything to do with Healthcare. We want our freedom to choose our Doctors again! Make Health Insurance competitive, allow Health Insurance to...

Just voted in Fairfax county. Machine takes ballot and simply indicates that I voted. It doesn't provide any indication of how it actually scanned my ballot so as far as I know, I could've just voted for Dr.Doolittle. Sounds like good potential for electronic voting fraud here.

""Such protections would be temporary since the president lacks authority to give people permanent legal status." This title from a quote in the WSJ article on "Executive Amnesty".I contend the first potential GOP candidate for POTUS that announces they will immediate, upon taking office, rescind this illegal act, and use all information gathered to enforce existing immigration law, will be elected in a LANDSLIDE. It's an opportunity as big as Alaska.

If the Republicans gain control of both houses, they will encounter a dangerous environment. When they got control during the Clinton administration, Clinton modified his behavior and signed bills like Welfare Reform. Clinton's popularity results from his shift to the winds. Obama has no intentions of shifting. Instead he will go further left and further damage the country. He will blame Republicans for all the damage. Unfortunately, Republicans won't respond. So the question arises - how does this translate for 2016?

  • Weirdest gun law of any state! (My pick is Ohio)

For a relatively historical red state, I could not believe what I recently learned about one of Ohio's laws regarding AR's. You can use 30 round AR's all day long, and you are good to go. But insert a mag containing 31 or more cartridges into the gun, and the state considers this a machine gun. WTF? If any law ever needed to be changed, this is it.
