DURHAM, N.C. -- A shouting match between family members of a suspect in a fatal mall shooting and the victim caused officials to clear a Durham courtroom Wednesday morning. Lamar Bass, 17, was arrested Tuesday afternoon and charged in connection with the Dec. 26 death of 16-year-old Lazarren "Qwan" McLean. (CINCINNATI) -- Cincinnati Police again are investigating a shooting where one of their own was injured. Two female officers pulled a car over on a Bond Hill street shortly before 2 a.m. this morning. It started as a routine traffic stop. After running the driver's information, the two officers were notified by police dispatch that the driver of the car had a warrant out for his arrest. That was when, police say, that the passenger Dante Person, also known as "Pretty boy", pulled a gun out and began shooting at the two officers.

Plymouth, Mass. -- Police shot and killed a 16-year-old boy early Tuesday after he drove a car at them while fleeing the scene of a possible burglary attempt, authorities said. The two officers opened fire, killing Anthony McGrath, following a high-speed chase that started at a liquor store in Plymouth. "My son got a death sentence," the boy's mother, Denise McGrath, told reporters. "I want to know who killed my son for no reason at all."

CHESAPEAKE - A 21-year-old Mormon missionary died Monday night after he and his partner were shot while going door-to-door in the Deep Creek area. The other missionary, age 19, was in serious condition at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital Monday night, Chesapeake police said. Police did not release the victims’ identities. DETROIT - Obie Trice was shot early Saturday while driving on a city highway, police said. Trice, a Detroit native and protege of Eminem, was on the Lodge Freeway at about 1:10 a.m. when his vehicle was shot at by someone in another car, said Michigan State Police Sgt. Mario Gonzales.
