Speaking at a book launch in Westminster on Tuesday Mr Farage told the PoliticsHome website that he would soon be doing Mr Sunak's job. Teasing Conservative MPs present at the event, the former Ukip leader initially said he was serious but later said he was joking. “I’d be very surprised if I were not Conservative leader by ‘26. Very surprised," he told the website. “They think I’m joking," he said, referring to others present, adding: "I’m serious.” He later tried to row back on his comments and said they were meant “in jest”. Mr Farage quit the Tories 30 years...

Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party has faced a raw deal as Tory voters leave the party, while a poll has revealed they may be headed elsewhere. A YouGov poll on voting intention showed a spike in Reform UK’s support now at nine points - up by four. This follows the Tories dropping three points to 22 per cent and Labour dropping one point to 47 per cent, a change apparently in favour of Reform UK. The Liberal Democrats have seen no change, with nine per cent of the vote. The poll, from November 29 to 30, also saw Keir Starmer’s lead...

The frontman, who has previously defended his pro-Brexit views, was asked whether Brexit would be ‘bad for British rock music’. “No. What’s it got to do with the rock business?” he told Sky News. “How are you going to tour in Europe?” the interviewer replied. “Oh dear. As if we didn’t tour Europe before the f****** EU,” he said. “Oh give it up!” Daltrey then compared the EU to the mafia, saying: “If you want to be signed up to be...

In the 2015 General Election in the UK Nigel Farage was making a bid to be elected to the House of Commons when he led the United Kingdom Independence Party. When the results were counted election night in the South Thanet constituency it took all night as many postal ballots (absentee ballots) were counted. In the end Conservative Party candidate Craig Mackinlay won but there was the smell of wrong doing by the Tories in this race and dozens of others across the UK. Cases were brought against the Conservatives under British electoral laws and finally Wednesday a jury made...

The U.K. government has reportedly told President Trump he must not meet Brexit architect and former U.K. Independence Party leader Nigel Farage when Trump visits the U.K. later this month. The U.K. Daily Telegraph, citing a source within the British government, reports that 10 Downing Street made it clear that Trump “must not meet Farage” during his working visit to the U.K. on July 13. Trump has embraced Farage, who is also a Fox News contributor, and called him “the man behind Brexit” during the 2016 campaign. Farage told Fox News he would not comment on any conversations he had...

Two British political operatives were reportedly in contact with the Russian ambassador to the U.K. while they campaigned for and met with President Trump in 2016, CNN reported. Arron Banks and Andy Wigmore played prominent roles in the successful 2016 Brexit campaign for the U.K. to leave the European Union (EU). After the U.K. voted to leave the EU in June, Banks and Wigmore attended a Trump rally in Mississippi with the leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party, Nigel Farage, who was a prominent supporter of leaving the EU. Trump introduced Farage, who was speaking at the event, as...

We must pray for Tommy Robinson, as most likely he will never make it out of prison alive. It has just been announced the authorities may lock him up with the same Islamists who tried to kill him. If they do this, it is like in the ancient days of Rome, when they threw the prisoners into an arena with a lion and watched the lion devour them. Tommy is a modern day saint, and many are doing everything they can to help him – people are rising up – they have had enough. In the earliest protests the EDL’s...

Theresa May taunted Jeremy Corbyn that he had 'failed' today after the Tories held key London seats in local elections and made gains in other parts of the country. In the biggest test of public opinion since the general election, Labour's efforts to wrest the strongholds of Westminster, Wandsworth and Barnet from the Tories fell flat. In Barnet, where Labour needed just one seat to secure control, the Tories entrenched their position - with defeated councillors launching a furious attack on Mr Corbyn for failing to get a grip on the anti-Semitism crisis. Labour also came up short in crucial...

Ukip has collapsed in the polls and faces the loss of almost every council seat it won four years ago. With the results still coming in, the Brexit cheerleaders have already lost 86 of the 166 seats they won last time. Ukip is currently on just two seats - one of which is a gain in Derby in defiance of the nationwide performance.

American once touted as possible ambassador to EU tells of being detained at Boston airport and subpoenaed by Robert Mueller’s Trump-Russia inquiry {snip} In a statement sent to the Guardian, Malloch, who described himself as a policy wonk and defender of Trump, said the FBI also asked him about his relationship with Roger Stone, the Republican strategist, and whether he had ever visited the Ecuadorian embassy in London, where the Wikileaks founder Julian Assange has resided for nearly six years. In a detailed statement about the experience, which he described as bewildering and intimidating at times, Malloch said the federal...

The investor is one of three senior figures linked to the Remain-supporting campaign group Best for Britain who plan to launch a nationwide advertising campaign this month, which they hope will lead to a second referendum to keep Britain in the EU. UKIP leader Henry Bolton says he has ended his relationship with his girlfriend after she reportedly made racist comments about Meghan Markle. He said their romance was "obviously quite incompatible" with his leader role but he had no intention to quit. Jo Marney had sent texts saying black people were ugly and Prince Harry's fiancee would "taint" the Royal Family. UKIP's chairman said it "remains to be seen" whether Mr Bolton would stay as party leader.

THE WEIGHT OF IMMIGRATION AND THE RISE OF ISLAM IS LEADING TO BRITISH CULTURE BEING “BURIED”, ACCORDING TO THE NEW LEADER OF UKIP. Henry Bolton said there is a concern amongst people that their way of life is being “pushed aside”, and vowed to “address it” as he spoke to The Sun a day after his shock election. The 54-year-old ex-Army officer had said he wanted to move the party away from focusing on Islam after their manifesto earlier this year contained an “integration agenda” which was almost entirely about Muslims. And the issue had been brought back to the...

Europeans As Victims of Colonialism The noted blogger Fjordman is filing this report via Gates of Vienna. For a complete Fjordman blogography, see The Fjordman Files. There is also a multi-index listing here. In my book Defeating Eurabia I have included a chapter entitled Fourteen Centuries of War Against European Civilization, which deals with Islamic colonization of and attacks on the European continent since the seventh century AD. This part of history, when Europeans were victims of colonialism and slave raids, deserves much more emphasis than it currently receives, when the focus is almost exclusively on the briefer European colonial period....

The model girlfriend of a United Kingdom Independent Party leader was suspended from the political party after she reportedly made “racist” remarks about Meghan Markle, saying the duchess-to-be has a “tiny brain” and will “taint” the Royal family with “her seed.” Henry Bolton’s girlfriend, Jo Marney, apologized on Sunday for her “shocking language” in a series of text messages she sent to a friend, the Associated Press reported. The 25-year-old, who describes herself as a “presenter, music journalist, model, actor [and] Brexiteer,” said her words were “taken out of context.” In the text messages, published by The Mail on Sunday,...
