Bush's planned campaign rally in Marquette found Bush- Cheney 2004 officials, the Secret Service, volunteers, local police, Northern Michigan University personnel and scores of others putting the finishing touches on arrangements. The president is expected to arrive in the area some time after noon Tuesday. The rally, at NMU's Superior Dome, is expected to begin at 1:45 p.m. Spectators will be allowed in the dome at 11 a.m. Security will be tight.
