John Kerry the Swift Boat Commander is now calling John Kerry the Democratic Candidate a liar. The best attack ad against Kerry has come, not from the Bush Campaign or the Swift Boat Veterans, but instead from Kerry himself. Art Moore from WorldNetDaily found this little footnote from history, and uncovered the real story: *****KERRY CONTRADICTS SELF IN OWN WAR DIARY? At least 9 days after Purple Heart, wrote he had not 'been shot at yet'"A previously unnoticed passage in John Kerry's approved war biography, citing his own journals, appears to contradict the senator's claim he won his first Purple...

Old Crimson Interview Reveals A More Radical John Kerry The Crimson reported Kerry called for U.N. control of troops in 1970. Ten months after returning home from Vietnam, a young John Kerry strolled into the offices of The Harvard Crimson on Feb. 13, 1970 as an obscure underdog in the Democratic Congressional primary. The decorated veteran, honorably discharged after a tour of duty in the Mekong Delta, spoke in fierce terms during his daylong interview with The Crimson’s Samuel Z. Goldhaber ’72. But almost 34 years later, Kerry’s remarks on American military and intelligence operations vastly diverge from opinions expressed...

WASHINGTON (Talon News) -- A pro-Kerry group is defending the Democratic presidential candidate's antiwar past, agreeing that John Kerry's 1971 claims that U.S. soldiers committed atrocities in Vietnam are true. Veterans for Kerry held a press conference Tuesday at the National Press Club in Washington, DC to denounce television ads being run by the independent 527 group Swift Boat Veterans For Truth who say that the Massachusetts senator is "unfit for command." Retired General Wesley Clark called for President Bush to disavow the SVFT ads and demand that they be taken off the air. He quoted Republican Sen. John McCain...

John Kerry is a scaredycat. There's no better word to describe him at this point in time. How dare I write such a thing about a decorated war veteran? Well, the folks who will surely ask that question upon reading this article assume that Mr. Kerry is what he claims to be. I do not make that assumption, just as I do not assume that the people currently accusing him of deliberate acts of deceit and treachery are correct in all their assertions, although I suspect that most of them honestly believe him to be a despicable character. When it...

Frontpage Interview’s guest today is Scott Swett, the primary author of WinterSoldier.com, a central repository of information for writers and researchers on the role of John Kerry, Vietnam Veterans Against the War, and others in the "war crimes" propaganda campaign that successfully undermined public support for America's defense of South Vietnam. He is also the webmaster at SwiftVets.com, home base for Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. Their recent ad in three battleground states ignited a political firestorm that has the Kerry campaign firing lawyer letters to the nation's TV and Radio stations. You can get the full story about the...

..........James Wasser, who accompanied Kerry on that mission aboard patrol boat No. 44 and who supports Kerry's candidacy, said that while he believes they were "very, very close" to Cambodia, he did not think they entered Cambodia on that mission. Yet he added: "It is very hard to tell. There are no signs." Another crewmate who said he was with Kerry on Christmas Eve, Steven Gardner -- who is a member of the veterans group opposing Kerry's candidacy -- said Kerry was 50 miles from Cambodia at the time. He accused Kerry of lying about being in Cambodia or by...

— An intense dislike of U.S. Sen. John Kerry was an almost visible emotion that swept through the Aqua Turf Club Tuesday night at a benefit dinner sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans for the Truth. About 100 guests paid $150 to attend the prime rib dinner and hear a number of speakers call Kerry a dishonest politician who had lied about his medals and war record and had falsely accused American soldiers of atrocities to help launch his political career. Before the dinner began, Jerome R. Corsi signed a number of copies of the book "Unfit For Command" that he...

We have been hearing a lot lately from the Swiftvets and how they don't think Kerry deserved his medals... I am trying to find any kind of information that shows they also felt this way right after Kerry left Vietnam... Other than O'Neill challenging Kerry on the war crimes charges, I can't seem to find anything that says the Swifties questioned his medals back in the 70's... any help? The argument my Libby friend is using is: The Swifties never questioned Kerry's medals in 1971 etc., and that proves they are part of the Republican attack machine!

WASHINGTON (AP) — John Kerry on Tuesday condemned a television ad that criticizes President Bush's Vietnam-era service in the Texas Air National Guard, even as prominent veterans linked to the Democratic presidential campaign echoed the commercial's accusations. In a campaign shadowed by the war on terror, the military records of Kerry and Bush emerged again as an issue after Republican Sen. John McCain called on Kerry to denounce an ad that accuses Bush of using family connections to avoid the Vietnam War. McCain, a decorated Vietnam veteran with the reputation of a political maverick, had called on Bush two weeks ago...

When I went on a solo FReep in NYC yesterday, I made up flyers that I handed out -- 100 handed out in 1/2 hour!I strongly suggest that FReepers print out/xerox these flyers and pass them out anywhere you can to counter the DNC goons' efforts (and just to get the word out on the REAL John Kerry). You can download the flyers HERE. They are in PDF Format. They also help the Swift Boat Vets. Here is what they say: The REAL John Kerry “Yes, I committed the same kind of atrocities as thousands of other soldiers have committed in that I...

If a candidate’s war heroics were criteria for selecting the president, we would be reading about "former President Dole" instead of former President Clinton. Readers will recall that Bob Dole was a genuine World War II hero, while president Clinton had hightailed it abroad during the Vietnam crisis. That comparison was even more dramatic than Kerry’s four-month stint in Vietnam compared to President Bush who did not go to Vietnam but did serve stateside in the National Guard and has a proven record as commander-in-chief. The real issue in this latest brouhaha is the complete lack of integrity by the...

A document from the FBI files covering the Vietnam Veterans Against the War (VVAW) and John Kerry, dated November 16,1971 (FBI file record number ID; 100-448092-483), indicates that local supporters of the VVAW became dissatisfied with the VVAW. As a result of Mr. Kerry’s speech in Gaston Hall at George Washington University, the head office of the VVAW in New York withdrew support for the Washington DC office and for John Kerry. The following is a verbatim transcript of the FBI document:

The biggest Republican campaign donor in Texas has financed a smear campaign to not only challenge Sen. John Kerry's Vietnam War heroism but also to portray him as a liar and a coward. This is based on unsupported charges and transparently deceptive tactics. Yet President Bush has failed for days to denounce it, a decision that he knows gives the ad credibility with some poorly informed voters. Bush talks a lot about the importance of character. This was a good test of his ability to live up to that rhetoric, and so far he has failed it. Consequently, the American...

The American version of “Rashomon,” the classic Japanese film, seems now to be playing in the theater of presidential politics. The original “Rashomon” was first produced in 1950, and told the story of one horrific event from four separate, and equally credible, points of view. The current rendition is set in South Vietnam, in the late 1960s, and involves the service of Sen. John Kerry on naval patrol boats. Which version is more accurate? Take your pick. As any observer of the Democratic National Convention can attest, Sen. Kerry has made his military service during the Vietnam War the centerpiece...

........Kerry's statements about Cambodia do have traction for opponents. He has referred to spending Christmas or Christmas Eve 1968 in Cambodia and coming under fire. At the time Cambodia was neutral and supposedly off-limits to US troops. "I remember Christmas of 1968 sitting on a gunboat in Cambodia," Kerry said in 1986 at a Senate committee hearing on US policy toward Central America. "I remember what it was like to be shot at by the Vietnamese and Khmer Rouge and Cambodians and have the president of the United States telling the American people that I was not there, the troops...

.........Since the anti-Kerry ad first surfaced, Kerry's crewmates have fanned out in his defense. Along with Rassmann, crewmates Del Sandusky, leading petty officer with Kerry on PCF-94, and Gene Thorson decried the allegations as politically inspired "garbage." Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.), a Vietnam veteran who has endorsed Bush, called the ad "dishonest and dishonorable." He said that "none of these individuals served on the boat [Kerry] commanded," adding that he believed "John Kerry served honorably in Vietnam." In a lengthy interview between the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth's first news conference in May and the controversy last week, Kerry called...

Even when he's caught in a lie, media aren't scrutinizing him same way they did Bush The same news media that demanded George W. Bush release his National Guard records — and went over them with a microscope — have shown an appalling lack of interest in John Kerry's military service. And as it turns out, there are far more legitimate questions about the latter than the former Kerry has made his four months and 11 days in Vietnam the central theme of his presidential campaign. This is entirely understandable given his 20 years as the Senate's leading dove. He...

Hidden Agenda The truth behind John Kerry`s record on your firearms rights. by Wayne LaPierre If you thought the eight long years of the Clinton/Gore administration`s war on firearms owners` rights were oppressive, they would pale in comparison to what John Kerry would have in store for us if he captures the White House and evicts President George W. Bush in November. John Kerry--whose record of words and misdeeds on firearms rights has earned him a key place among the most solid "F" candidates ever rated by the National Rifle Association--is now posing as a self-styled"lifelong hunter and gun owner,"...
